Overview

Provenance Consulting is a recognized leader in developing and implementing Process Safety Management (PSM) programs for oil, gas, and chemical plants and facilities. We specialize in services specific to OSHA’s PSM elements including engineering evaluations, risk assessments, software implementation and development, and engineering information management. We believe that implementing and maintaining a comprehensive PSM program is the foundation to a facility’s long-term success.

 

Location

 

This position may be executed from either of the Provenance locations: Borger, TX or Houston, TX.  Relocation incentives will be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

The Sales Consultant is responsible for delivering revenue growth by expanding and diversifying the client portfolio in which Provenance Consulting provides services to. The Sales Consultant will develop, grow and maintain client relationships with a primary focus on retention and satisfaction. To fulfill this role, the Sales Consultant will:

  • Develop and execute an effective account strategy for new and existing clients
  • Establish new client relationships
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Develop and qualify leads and implement sales plans
  • Develop and create proposals based on client needs assessment
  • Represent and promote Provenance in industry and client events as well as community and professional organizations
  • Understand and comply with all Provenance and client safety procedures that govern the work being performed

Position includes a base salary in addition to sales commission.

 

Travel

 

Extensive travel is required 50-75% of the time.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university (Business or Engineering degreed preferred)
  • 1-3 years' of experience in executing all elements of sales and relationship management.
  • Advanced analytical abilities and strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to retain and grow revenue through large and complex sales
  • Proven ability to build senior executive relationships
  • Excellent communication, organization and project management abilities
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and recommended practices (PSM, API, NFPA, ASME, etc.) is highly preferred
