We specialize in services specific to OSHA’s PSM elements including engineering evaluations, risk assessments, software implementation and development, and engineering information management. The position is located in Freeport, TX with possible work at other locations. Travel up to 10% of the time is possible.

The API Inspector is responsible for performing inspection of fixed equipment and piping, in addition to providing functional expertise related to Mechanical Integrity (MI) within the assigned project(s). Emphasis is placed on quality of the work product and the efficiency of work execution. Candidate will help establish efficient and effective MI inspection programs by performing physical inspection and testing of components, documenting inspections and testing in a timely manner, and submitting recommendations to resolve action items or deficiencies identified during inspections.
The API Inspector will report to either a site manager or project manager who will establish clear expectations in terms of work quality, efficiency, and technical development. The API Inspector will work directly with clients on technical aspects of the projects and therefore must be able to communicate technical requirements and deliverables clearly and concisely.
